It’s the match-up Casey has been waiting for, as the Demons will take a strong side up to Brisbane to take on the second placed Lions.
The Demons will be looking to back up its Round 21 win over Carlton, pulling away in tough conditions to beat the Blues by 16 points.
In a top of the table clash with the Lions, Casey has made five changes as it prepares to travel up to Moreton Bay Central Sports Complex for the blockbuster match.
Important small forwards Kade Chandler and Toby Bedford both come back into the side to strengthen Casey’s team, while James Jordon will come down from Melbourne’s AFL side and head to the wing.
Riley Baldi has been a revelation in the midfield in 2022 and will return to the Demons’ side for the final round clash, while Tommy Macrae also comes back as the 23rd man for the contest.
Unfortunately, Jimmy Munro hasn’t gotten up after his lower leg injury last weekend as he sits out of the important match.
James Harmes has been recalled to Melbourne’s AFL side, while Kobi George, Jake Spencer and Roan Steele have all been named as emergencies for this week’s game.
