THE 2021 AFL Premiership Cup has finally made it to the Demon fans of the Northern Territory.

On Thursday, the Cup made its way to the Red Centre, its first stop in Alice Springs. Joined by Andy Moniz-Wakefield, Alyssa Bannan and Megan Fitzsimon, it visited a local football clinic facilitated by AFL Northern Territory.

The remote community of Nyirripi was next up on the Cup's agenda and was a much-anticipated destination, with Nyirripi the home of the Nyirripi Demons. The town is approximately 440km from Alice Springs and is a particularly special place to the Melbourne faithful with many local die-hard Demon fans.

Moniz-Wakefield, Bannan, Fitzsimon were joined by club president Kate Roffey and Melbourne University's Indigenous Eye Health Trachoma team, helping locals to participate in their initiative 'Clean Faces, Strong Eyes' - encouraging kids to stay healthy and help prevent Trachoma.

Its final stop for the day was another remote community of Yuendemu, approximately 293km from Alice Springs. A football clinic, alongside AFL Northern Territory, had been organised, as those from the local community centres joined in with a barbecue.
