MELBOURNE has named its extended line-up for Round 18, three days out from its Sunday clash against Port Adelaide.
The Demons have added seven names to their 26-man squad, as the group prepares for its long-awaited return to the Northern Territory.
Jake Melksham, Adam Tomlinson, Trent Rivers, Sam Weideman, Luke Dunstan, Jayden Hunt and Kade Chandler have all been additions to the extended team, with the final 22 to be announced tomorrow at 5:00pm.
Clayton Oliver was a confirmed withdrawal from the side on Thursday morning, with the star midfielder injuring his thumb during Round 17, making him unavailable for selection this weekend.
Defenders Harrison Petty (Health and Safety Protocols) and Jake Bowey (omitted) have also been withdrawn from the side.
The Sunday afternoon battle will take place in Alice Springs at TIO Traeger Park, with the first bounce scheduled for 3:20pm (AEST). The match will be broadcast live from 3:00pm (AEST), which fans can tune into via the Seven Network, Fox Footy or Kayo Sports.
