MELBOURNE’S Christian Petracca has received back-to-back 10s from the coaches, in what has been two weeks of stellar displays from the midfielder.

Petracca opened the season last week with a memorable Round 1 game and now, just a week later, has backed it up with another clear standout perfomance.

The midfielder reached a career-high of 40 disposals, while also hitting the stats sheet with 17 contested possessions and 14 inside 50s.

A duo of young Demons also featured in the line-up of vote-getters for Round 2, with Luke Jackson and Jake Bowey recognised for their displays against the Suns.

Jackson, the reigning rising star recipient, once again proved how influential he can be across the ground, working with Max Gawn in the ruck, while impacting on the scoreboard kicking two impressive goals.

Bowey’s game, which was acknowledged with a NAB AFL Rising Star nomination, will go straight to the top of the No.17's best outings, the 19-year-old registering a personal-high of 34 disposals in his work across the half-backline.

Clayton Oliver was the fourth Demon to poll (four votes), while Gold Coast’s Touk Miller was the sole Sun to be recognised (five votes).
