Taylor was signed for six years as a development player to the Jayco franchise in the WNBL, and became a cross-code athlete in 2022, accepting a contract with Richmond in the AFLW. Following her time with the Tigers, she was scouted by then the recent VFLW premiers, Port Melbourne, before being recruited to the Melbourne Demons as a rookie. Taylor’s debut in the 2024 season was highly anticipated for the much-beloved Dee. She made appearances in the backline in three matches.
