Melbourne has boosted its midfield stocks, selecting prolific midfielder Maggie Mahony with selection No.21 in the 2024 Telstra AFLW Draft. A competitive and contested ball-winner, Mahony lined up for the Oakleigh Chargers, Vic Metro and Collingwood VFLW side this season, despite a mid-season collarbone injury curtailing her season.
