After being overlooked in two AFLW drafts, Chaplin has become one of Melbourne and the competition’s most damaging defenders, topped off by 2025 All Australian honours. A strong one-on-one defender, Chaplin is an intercept force and provides a springboard for launching attacks from the back half, ranking fourth in the competition for intercepts in 2025. A Coaches Award winner in 2024, the energetic teammate is an influential presence in the locker room.
