Lauren Pearce established herself as one of the best rucks in the competition in 2019, earning All Australian honours and coming second in the club’s Best and Fairest award. The nimble ruck, who acts as an extra midfielder, continued her form into the VFLW season winning the Lambert-Pearce Medal as the league’s best player. Unfortunately, Pearce had a knee operation in December and will miss the start of the 2020 season.
