Paxman is one of the stalwarts of the AFLW competition and is one of only a handful of remaining players who played in the first AFLW exhibition match in 2013. She is one of the most highly awarded players on the squad, as a two-time Melbourne Best & Fairest winner (2019, 2021) and a five-time All-Australian (including as Captain in 2020). She was elevated to Melbourne Football Club’s Hall of Fame at the conclusion of the 2024 season. Paxman continuously challenges as one of the hardest competitors on-field, despite carrying some injury in season 2024. She’ll be aiming for an uninterrupted season in 2025.
