Former St Kilda player Luke Dunstan joined the red and blue as an unrestricted free agent in 2021, after selecting Melbourne as his club of choice.
The 26 year-old midfielder adds depth and experience to Melbourne's squad, having played 116 games, while kicking 46 goals across eight seasons.
Playing 12 matches on 2021, the onballer averaged 25 disposals and more than five clearances a game.
Dunstan, who was drafted from Woodville-West Torrens in South Australia, was selected with pick 18 in the 2013 National Draft.
