McAdam arrived at the Demons from Adelaide ahead of the 2024 season, bringing with him 50 senior games and 72 goals. The high-flying 186cm forward featured 11 times at state league level that year, thrilling fans with his aerial prowess and adding 21 majors to his tally. Originally selected by Carlton as a mature-aged pre-draft access selection before joining Adelaide in 2018, McAdam made his AFL debut in 2020 and quickly built a reputation as an exciting, athletic forward. He missed the entire 2025 AFL season after undergoing surgery on his Achilles tendon and will be aiming to return fully fit ahead of the 2026 campaign.
