Kyle Dunkley became Melbourne’s first ever Mid-Season selection, becoming a rookie in 2019.
After beginning the year with Footscray in the VFL, Dunkley impressed the Dees’ recruiters and joined the AFL list during the season.
In an incredible turn of events, Dunkley made his AFL debut against Carlton in Round 16 and played five senior games in the back-half of the year.
The brother of Bulldog Josh, and son of former Swan Andrew, is an inside midfielder who has the ability to go forward and hit the scoreboard.
Dunkley has spent the off-season training with his brother overseas and will benefit from a full pre-season with the club.
