Berry, who stands at 194cm tall, is set to add to the Dees’ depth, while bringing his unique experience from years on the college basketball circuit in the US. Having begun his collegiate career at Fairleigh Dickenson University in New Jersey, the 23-year-old has spent the past four seasons playing for the University of North Florida, completing his degree earlier this year. Berry, who grew up in Australia and played footy up until under-16s, qualifies as a Category B Rookie, given he has not been registered to play in any football competition over the past three years. He comes from a rich sporting family; his brother Jordan spent eight years with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings, while his other brother Wilson is currently signed as a punter with the University of Kentucky.
