A Round 8 collarbone injury caused Michael Hibberd some issues in 2019, and while he played 19 games for the season, he may have been restricted at certain stages.
The defender averaged 17 disposals for the year playing a variety of roles at half-back but will be looking to recapture his 2017 All-Australian form next season.
Hibberd has been a valuable addition for Melbourne since joining the club along with pick No.59 at the end of the 2016 season, where the Dees sent pick No.29 and 68 to the Bombers.
He’s an experienced player who will link up well with Jake Lever and Steven May when the backline is at full fitness in 2020.
