MELBOURNE is set to face the Western Bulldogs in Round 19 in a top-of-the-table clash, as the AFL confirms fixture changes due to the COVID-19 situation in Victoria.

The Demons were scheduled to play the Gold Coast Suns in Darwin on Saturday 24^th July but will now play the Dogs at the MCG.   

With the current COVID-19 restrictions for Victoria, it is assumed that no crowds will be permitted for the Saturday night game.

The 7:25pm clash at the MCG will be the second meeting for these sides in 2021, with the Demons claiming a 28-point victory in Round 11.
