THE FINAL three rounds of the 2021 AFL Women’s fixture have been confirmed, with Melbourne to meet Adelaide, Fremantle and Brisbane in the coming weeks.

Round 7 of the home-and-away season will see the Demons host the Crows, in what will be their second-consecutive match at Casey Fields – they play St Kilda this coming week.

The game will kick off at 7.10pm next Saturday night, with ticketing arrangements to be advised shortly.

Melbourne will then head west for their second interstate trip of 2021, meeting Fremantle for a clash on Sunday 21st March at Fremantle Oval.

The Demons last played at the ground in Round 3 of the 2018 season, in which the match went in the home team’s favour.

The Round 8 game is scheduled for 3.10pm AEDT, 6.10pm local time.

A battle with Brisbane then awaits the following week, with Melbourne to play the Lions at Casey Fields on Saturday 27th March.

Set to get underway at 3.10pm, the game will be the final match-up for the Dees as part of the regular fixture, before they hope to be one of the top six teams to turn their attention to finals.

A three-week finals series remains the plan and will culminate in a Grand Final on the weekend of April 17-18.

The AFL’s latest fixture announcement upholds its integrity framework, where the split of opponents is based on the last year’s ladder positions.
