THE NAB AFL WOMEN’S Draft will look slightly different in 2020, with the event to be held virtually.

Taking place on Tuesday 6 October, this year’s Draft will see clubs dial into a central location to make their selections, before picks are shared to the public through a live broadcast show.

It will be the first time the Draft is held in the evening, with all the action kicking off at 7pm.

Fans can watch through a stream on womens.afl, as well as through the AFLW Official App and the AFLW’s Official Facebook page. Melbourne’s digital channels will also have extensive coverage through the night.

After an active Sign and Trade Period, the Dees have set themselves a strong draft hand – reflective of their overall strategy.

With three picks in the first two rounds (Victorian selections three, nine and 11), some of the best young talent available will be joining their list.

Melbourne will welcome another three players in later rounds, with Victorian picks No.24, 27 and 30.

The additions will complete the Demons’ playing list for the 2021 season.
