MELBOURNE defender Neville Jetta has been selected to play in next week’s State of Origin Game, helping assist the Bushfire Relief at Marvel Stadium.

Jetta, who has played 148 games for the Dees, will be the club’s only representative in next Friday’s match, pulling on the white and gold All-Star guernsey.

The game, which will raise important funds for those affected by the Australian bushfire crisis, will feature some of the AFL’s biggest names in a clash between Victoria and the All-Stars.

Jetta will be coached by John Longmire, and play alongside the likes of Nat Fyfe and Jack Riewoldt, with at least one-player from each AFL team featuring in the contest.

Prior to the State of Origin Game, Melbourne’s AFLW team will be taking on Collingwood at the same venue from 5:40pm.
