Entry and gate information

Entry to the game is free, with gates opening at 6.00pm. 

Please note, that chairs and stools, alcohol and pets are not permitted inside the ground. 

Seating

Seating is available in the grandstand on a first come, first served basis.

Make sure you get to the ground early to secure yourself a good seat. 

What's On

Plenty will be happening off the field on Friday night, with multiple activities located around the ground.

Food and beverage

A wide variety of food and beverage options will be available via food trucks, bars and ice-cream vans around Whitten Oval.

Food can be brought into the venue, however large eskies, hampers, chairs and stools, glass and alcohol are not permitted.

Alcohol must be purchased inside the venue.

Getting there

Fans are advised to catch public transport to the game, with limited parking options available.

Public transport

Whitten Oval is located within proximity of West Footscray train station on the Sunbury/Watergardens line. 

By tram, you can also catch the #57 from the city heading to West Maribyrnong.

Multiple bus routes also service the ground, with bus stops located around the corner on Barkly St.

Car

Limited street parking is available close to the ground.

Further away from the venue, you can park at Western Health Footscray Hospital ($11 weekend all day parking), Footscray Plaza ($8 daily maximum) and Victoria University's Footscray Campus (free).
