NARRM will face the in-form Lions on Sunday with the return of two key Demons.
All Australian defender Maeve Chaplin enters the team, set for her first game of the season, having broken her foot during Narrm’s practice match against Geelong.
Chaplin has proven her fitness ahead of Sunday’s game and will strengthen the Dees defence as they prepare to face a stacked Lions forward line.
Lauren Pearce, who was a late withdrawal last weekend, will also play her first game of the season having been sidelined following knee surgery.
The tall Demon will add experience through stoppage, working alongside young ruck Georgia Campbell.
Exiting the side is Lauren Clifton and Alyssia Pisano, who have been named on the emergency list alongside Amelia Dethridge.
The Dees will host the Lions in the first weekend of the AFLW’s Indigenous Round. Narrm pulling on the club’s 2026 Indigenous guernsey, designed by Nyirripi artist Vanetta Nampijinpa Hudson.
