MELBOURNE will host Carlton in Wildcard Final One at the MCG on Saturday night.
The Demons secured seventh place on the ladder with 60 points across the home-and-away season, earning the opportunity to play finals in front of the red and blue faithful.
As part of the new Toyota AFL Finals Series, teams that finish between seventh and 10th on the ladder will contest Wildcard Finals for the right to progress to an Elimination Final.
Melbourne’s seventh-place finish sees it face 10th-placed Carlton at the MCG.
The highest-ranked Wildcard Final winner will then travel to face the sixth-placed side in an Elimination Final, while the lower-ranked winner will meet the team that finished fifth.
Dees fans can get behind the team ahead of the clash at an open training session on Tuesday 25 August at Gosch’s Paddock. Training will run from 9:45am until 11:30am, before a signing session from approximately 11:30am to 12pm.
Tickets for Wildcard Final One will be available via Ticketek, with competing club members able to purchase tickets from 10am to 2pm on Wednesday 26 August. AFL Members will have access from 12pm, before tickets go on sale to the general public from 3pm, unless sold out prior.
All matches across Wildcard Finals weekend will be broadcast live nationally on the Seven Network and Foxtel, and streamed via 7plus, Kayo and Binge.
