MELBOURNE has made two changes ahead of Saturday afternoon's clash with North Melbourne at Marvel Stadium.
Max Heath and Bayley Fritsch return to the side, replacing Bailey Laurie and Aidan Johnson for the Round 19 encounter.
Laurie has been named as an emergency alongside Tom McDonald and Lukas Cooke.
A conservative approach will be taken with Harrison Petty, with club GM of AFL Football Performance Alan Richardson highlighting the importance of giving him another full week of training.
“Harrison was a late withdrawal against Richmond last week due to hamstring soreness,” Richardson said.
“He returned to high-intensity running this week and trained with the team today. We’ll take a conservative approach with his return, giving him another full week of training, and expect him to be available to play next week.”
The Demons will be looking to build on last week's win over Richmond when they take on the Kangaroos in the Saturday afternoon fixture.
The first bounce is set for 4:15pm (AEST) at Marvel Stadium, with Melbourne chasing its 12th win of the season.
