MELBOURNE has secured Polestar as the Co-Principal Partner and Official Automotive Partner of its AFLW program for a further season, with the Swedish electric performance car brand signing a one-year extension.
The extended deal strengthens Polestar's commitment to the club and women's football, building on a landmark partnership that began in 2025 when it became the AFLW competition's first dedicated automotive partner.
Together, Melbourne and Polestar continue to lead the way, with the extension marking the AFLW's first automotive co-principal partnership.
As part of the agreement, the iconic Polestar wordmark will take pride of place on the front of Melbourne’s AFLW playing guernsey, as well as all training and off-field apparel.
Polestar Australia’s Head of Public Relations Kelly King spoke to how proud Polestar was to continue their support of Melbourne’s AFLW program.

Melbourne’s Chief Growth Officer Tim Clarke said the Club was excited to continue building its relationship with Polestar.

Melbourne's AFLW side will begin its 2026 campaign against Hawthorn at IKON Park on Thursday, 13 August at 7:15pm.
