The Casey Demons have welcomed four AFL-listed players back into the side for Sunday's clash with Port Melbourne at Casey Fields.

Experienced defender Tom McDonald returns to bolster the backline, providing valuable leadership and intercept marking, while Paddy Cross, Jake Melksham and Luker Kentfield add plenty of firepower to the forward half.

The Demons will be without several players who have earned AFL recalls, while Nate Pipicelli is unavailable through injury.

Casey will be eager to bounce back after a loss against Williamstown last game. The Demons showed patches of strong football but were unable to sustain it for four quarters, and they'll be determined to produce an improved effort on home soil.

Standing in their way is another tough challenge in Port Melbourne. This season, the Borough have proven to be another strong VFL standalone club, meaning Casey will need to bring relentless pressure, strong contest work and disciplined team football to claim the four points.

The first bounce is at 1:30pm, with fans encouraged to make a day of it by arriving early to support the Casey Demons VFLW side, who take on Port Melbourne from 10:30am.
