Sunday marks the club’s first VFL and VFLW double-header of the season, with a huge day of football set to take over Casey Fields.
The action gets underway with the VFL side facing the Bulldogs at 11:05am, before the VFLW team takes centre stage at 2:30pm in what promises to be a massive afternoon for the red and blue faithful.
There’ll be no shortage of Demon spirit around Casey Fields as both sides look to put on strong performances in front of a home crowd against the Bulldogs. With two big clashes and a full day of footy atmosphere, it shapes as one of the club’s biggest match days of the season so far.
The VFL side will be eager to respond against the reigning premiers after falling short in the opening round meeting between the two teams earlier this year. Back on home turf, Casey will be looking for a more consistent four-quarter performance built around pressure, contest and team-first football as they aim to challenge one of the competition’s benchmark sides.
Meanwhile, the VFLW team enters the clash full of confidence after an impressive Round 1 victory. In their first home game of the season, the Dees will be determined to build on that momentum and continue their strong start to the year.
With both teams taking the field on the same day, Sunday is set to be a celebration of the club’s VFL and VFLW programs and a fantastic opportunity for supporters to get behind the Dees at Casey Fields.
This week’s home games are proudly brought to you by Chisholm.
