MELBOURNE has regained Shelley Scott and will give Elise Strachan her first NAB AFL Women’s game after the two players were named for Saturday’s twilight’s game against the Adelaide Crows at TIO Stadium.

Scott did not play in Melbourne’s loss to the GWS Giants in Blacktown last round, due to a shoulder injury.

Strachan, 25, from Bendigo was added to Melbourne’s list in the lead-up last round, as injuries mounted on the club’s list.

She will make his debut in Melbourne’s crucial clash against the Crows, which starts at 5.40pm local time.

Jessica Anderson and Sarah Jolly have been relegated to emergencies this round.

Emma Humphries, Maddie Boyd, Aliesha Newman, Ainslie Kemp, Deanna Berry and Elise Strachan have been named on the interchange.

Stephanie De Bortoli, Meg Downie, Brooke Patterson and Pepa Randall remain sidelined.

Melbourne is aiming for its fourth win of the season and will need to win its final two matches, if it’s to push for a Grand Final berth.

This will be the red and blue’s second game on the road in as many weeks.

Melbourne will then play Fremantle in its final home and away match at Casey Fields.
