MELBOURNE coach Steven King has told the media the club is bracing for the worst but crossing its fingers for powerful midfielder and forward Jai Culley.

Culley fell to the ground when pivoting in a midfield stoppage against the Tigers.

King praised Demons Kysaiah Pickett, Tom Sparrow and Caleb Windsor as well as the club's ruthless final term.
