Follow The Flame to the MCG
From 5:20pm Friday evening, Richmond fans are encouraged to ‘Follow the Flame’ and join the torch lit from the Eternal Flame at the Shrine of Remembrance as it makes its way to the MCG ahead of the traditional Richmond v Melbourne Anzac Day Eve clash.

PRE-GAME ANZAC CEREMONY FROM THE SHRINE OF REMEMBERANCE
5:20pm - Torch from the Shrine of Remembrance escorted to the ’G.
At 5:20pm, a torch lit from the Eternal Flame at the Shrine of Remembrance will be escorted through King's Domain to the MCG.
Match attendees are encouraged to come along and be a part of the ceremony from the start, and Follow the Flame as it makes its way to the ‘G.
The torch is escorted by the Shrine Guard. Trained in military drill, the Shrine Guard have provided security and ceremonial support to the memorial since 1935 and proudly wear the uniform of the Australian Light Horse at ceremonial occasions.
6:00pm – Arrive at the G
