MELBOURNE is among the nominations for Mark of the Year following its thrilling win over Brisbane at the MCG.

In one of the defining moments of the contest, Jacob van Rooyen produced a clutch fourth-quarter mark to help swing momentum the Dees’ way.

With Melbourne trailing 74–76 and just over 14 minutes remaining, the key forward soared over Harris Andrews to take a towering contested grab from a long entry by Harry Sharp, who delivered from beyond 50.

The mark has been recognised with a Mark of the Year nomination.
