MELBOURNE has confirmed its extended line-up ahead of Sunday’s clash with Brisbane at the MCG.

The Dees will take part in this weekend’s annual Jim’s Game, with the match celebrating Irish heritage in honour of the late Jim Stynes.

There’s added excitement around selection, with 2025 No.11 pick Xavier Taylor named in the extended squad and set to make his AFL debut.

Max Heath, Bailey Laurie, Matthew Jefferson, Jack Henderson and Luker Kentfield have also been included, with the final team of 23 to be confirmed tomorrow at 5pm (AEDT).

Christian Salem and Jake Melksham have both been ruled out through injury, while Tom McDonald has been omitted.
