Casey will continue its pre-season preparations with a VFL practice match against Richmond on Saturday, February 28, taking place at Casey Fields from 11:00am.
The hit-out follows the AFL practice match in Ballarat the day prior, with list management rules allowing up to eight players on the bench for the fixture. The squad will be selected from VFL-listed Demons, as well as AFL-listed players not selected for the game in Ballarat.
The match provides another important opportunity for players to build match fitness and stake their claim ahead of the upcoming VFL season.
Supporters are welcome to attend and watch Casey take on the Tigers as preparations ramp up toward Round 1 against Footscray.
