MELBOURNE has provided an update on several players as the team prepares for the final round of the 2025 home and away season.

Gabby Colvin unfortunately sustained a wrist injury while spoiling a ball at scrimmage.

“Gab suffered the injury in the contest and will now meet with a hand therapist,” AFLW High Performance Manager Josh Keily said.

“We’ll get a clearer idea of her recovery timeline once she’s been assessed.”

In better news, Georgia Gall has completed her rehab program and will be available for selection this weekend.

“Gally accelerated her rehab really well at the back end of last week,” Keily said.

"She has ticked all the boxes for a return.”

Grace Beasley also continues to make strong progress, successfully completing her first match scrimmage.

“GB got through really well and even managed to kick a goal on return, which was awesome to see,” Keily said.

“She’ll build towards a full scrimmage this week as she nears the end of her rehab block.”

Sinead Goldrick is another Demon close to a return, set to be a test for this weekend’s match.

“Goldy’s going really well - she’s ticked off everything we’ve asked of her,” Keily said.

“She’ll get through contact work and complete main training tomorrow, which will determine her availability.”

Meanwhile, Olivia Purcell continues to make promising strides in her ACL rehabilitation.

“Liv has been smashing the first stage of her ACL rehab,” Keily said.

“She’s moving really well both in the gym and on track, recently beginning early run mechanics - it’s been awesome to see.”
