In exciting news, Collingwood forward Brody Mihocek has informed the club of his desire to play for the red and blue in 2026.

The unrestricted free agent, who was critical in Collingwood’s 2023 AFL Premiership, has played 159 games across his eight seasons at the Pies.

The key forward has kicked a total of 267 goals and has won Collingwood’s leading goal kicker award on five occasions.

Melbourne AFL List Manager Tim Lamb said the club was delighted to welcome the 32-year-old.

“We are really excited to add someone of Brody’s experience and character to our group,” Lamb said.

“He has proven himself as a consistent performer and his ability to compete in the air and hit the scoreboard will be a great asset for us.

“Brody is a team-first player who we believe will have a strong impact on our younger forwards and complement the mix we are building.”

The AFL Free Agency period opened on Friday, October 3, with the Continental Trade Period to commence on Monday, October 6.
