The Casey Demons came together on Thursday night to celebrate the 2025 season, recognising the outstanding efforts of players across both the VFL and VFLW programs.
From on-field excellence to leadership and dedication off the field, the Best & Fairest night shone a spotlight on the individuals who embodied the club’s values and made their mark throughout the year.
VFLW Trademark & Values Award - Olivia Morris
Olivia Morris was recognised for her consistency and commitment to continual improvement. Her investment in her development has set the standard for teammates and made her a reliable presence across the season.
VFLW Rising Star Award - Zahri Burn
Zahri Burn’s growth throughout the year saw her develop confidence in her game and make a strong impact at VFLW level. Her progression signals a bright future ahead.
VFL Trademark & Values Award - Riley Baldi
Riley Baldi was acknowledged for his outstanding leadership both on and off the field. He has been a driving force for the playing group, setting high standards and leading by example.
VFL Steve Harrison Rising Star Award - Paddy Cross
Paddy Cross made his mark in 2025 by consistently hitting the scoreboard and showing exciting promise. His performances earned him recognition as a player to watch for the future.
VFLW 3rd Runner-Up - Sophie Casey
Sophie Casey capped off a strong season with a third-place finish in the Best & Fairest count, reflecting her consistent contributions and influence on the field.
VFLW Runner-Up - Kasey Phillips
Kasey Phillips was a standout across the 2025 campaign, finishing runner-up in the Best & Fairest count. Her efforts highlighted her importance to the side and the impact she made each week.
2025 VFLW Best & Fairest - Meg Macdonald
Meg Macdonald claimed the top honour as the 2025 VFLW Best & Fairest for the second year in a row. Recognised for her exceptional season, her consistent performances and leadership qualities made her a driving force for the Casey Demons.
