LED by Senior Coach Mick Stinear, Melbourne have an expert panel of coaches to guide its AFLW team for the 2025 season.

Stinear, now entering his tenth year, remains one of the most experienced coaches in the league.

He will be supported by a core group of coaches, who have returned to the positions held in 2024.

Vincent Chungue will again take care of the midfield group and strategy, VFLW Head Coach Matthew Brewer returns as a backline coach, while senior assistant Shae Sloane will take charge of the forwards while continuing as Head of Development. 

Recently retired player Rhi Watt returns to the club as ruck coach, supporting Melbourne’s emerging ruck group.

Melbourne has welcomed ex-Diamond Kim Ravaillion in the role of Player Development and Education Manager.

Previously holding the position of Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, Josh Keily will step into the role of AFLW High Performance Manager.

Clare Pettyfor has moved into the role of General Manager – AFLW, and will also have a role in list management.

Melbourne has just 33 days until the beginning of the 2025 season, with the Demons to take on the Doggies at Whitten Oval on Saturday 16 August.
