DEMON defender Jake Lever will make his AFL football return after six weeks on the sidelines with an ankle injury.
Lever played his first game of football since his April surgery last weekend, lacing up for the Casey Demons to prove his fitness for AFL selection.

It will be the first time this season that the defensive duo of Steven May and Jake Lever play in the same side, with Lever missing since Round 2 and May having a delayed start to the season.
Tom McDonald has been omitted from the side to make way for the intercept ace and will join Bailey Laurie and Jai Culley on the emergency list.
Star Demon Christian Petracca is locked in to run out for the 200th time in red and blue, not missing a beat in 2025 after ending the previous campaign on the sidelines.

Sunday’s game will also be the club’s second Sir Doug Nicholls Round hit-out, a time for the league to celebrate the long-standing impact of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples on the football world.
The Dees will once again play as Narrm while pulling on their 2025 Indigenous guernsey, designed by Kysaiah Pickett’s dad, Kevin Kropinyeri.
