Tegan Williams
"Tegan has been thrown around a lot this year due to injuries, but every position she has thrived whether it’s been ruck, back or forward which makes her such a valuable asset for our playing group. At 21 and in our leadership group, she plays well above her age and sets an example for our squad being in the best for 3 out of 4 games, a strong mark and a good kick for goal"
Kasey Philips
"3rd game this year and had one her best games at Casey on the weekend! Coming up on an AFLW talent, she outplayed her opponent and took her opportunities from the back half giving us great drive and defensive cover."
Zoe Mitchell
"Zoe had a great game on the weekend taking 5 contested marks and having 18 touches in the mid field. She worked really hard defensively which she’s been working on but then gave us good drive going forward as well. Looking for her game to go up each week as she gets used to mid/ forward transition."
Alice Robinson
"Alice has kicked a goal a week for Casey this season. She's a very crafty up forward with a tone of speed makes her hard to match up on. We started playing her the mid field this week looking to utilise her pace going forward while still setting up goals and kicking them in the forward line."
Meg Macdonald
"Our co captain with Ally leads the way in toughness. We are really happy in the way she’s setting the ground up for our young group on the weekend. Meg is playing a different role from last year in the mid group which is still taking time to work through. She’s in the top 3 in tackles in the comp and I’d like for her to have more impact going forward and scoring goals, but that’s a work in progress."
Tiger Doultree
" I was really impressed in the way Tiger played on the weekend up against AFLW talent. She held her own and fought the game right to the end. With only 6 touches but amassed 9 spoils which is a massive growth area for Tiger as she starts her journey in the VFLW. Looking forward to her continuing her good form."
Natalie Banjavcic-Mills
"Only 17yrs old and doing SEDA college, Nat plays well above her size and really gets after the ball. She doesn’t hold back going in and had a break out game against the Box Hill Hawks on the wing. She’s only going to get better by playing footy at VFLW level. She's got a good over head and a great kick."
