MELBOURNEfc’s Ben Holland will front the AFL Tribunal after he was charged with ‘misconduct’ by the match review panel.

It was the opinion of the match review panel that Holland made unnecessary and unreasonable contact to the face of Brad Johnson during the third quarter of Sunday afternoon’s game.

The incident was assessed as negligent conduct (one point), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points). The match review panel referred the incident directly to the Tribunal for its determination, as there are no set demerit points attributed to the offence.

Ben Holland has no applicable good or bad record.
