Melbourne Football Club is thrilled to announce Co-Principal Partner Zurich Financial Services Australia (Zurich) has committed to the Club for a further three years, making it the largest sponsorship investment in the Club’s history.

This extension, which is exciting news for both the Club and Zurich, will see their iconic blue logo remain on the front of the AFL and back of the AFLW guernseys.

The global leader in insurance joined the Demons as AFL Co-Principal Partner in 2018, before increasing their investment in the Club by signing as AFLW Co-Principal Partner in 2020.

Justin Delaney, Chief Executive Officer, Zurich Australia & New Zealand said that the relationship between the two organisations was built on shared values, particularly regarding community impact.

 “We are proud to extend our partnership with the Melbourne Football Club following six successful years working closely together on a number of important initiatives,” Delaney said.

“Together, we have driven several impactful community initiatives including the launch of ‘Goals for Good’ and support of charitable rounds to raise money for FightMND (motor neurone disease) and the Reach Foundation (youth mental health and wellbeing).

“Our partnership with the Melbourne Football Club provides a valuable platform for Zurich to connect with our customers, partners, employees and the broader Australian community.”

Melbourne Football Club CEO Gary Pert said the long-term commitment to both the men’s and women’s programs was a great show of faith in the direction the Club is headed.
