MELBOURNE will hit the road for the AFL's Opening Round, travelling to Sydney to face the Swans in a Thursday night, blockbuster match-up.
The Demons and Swans will take to the SCG on Thursday, 7 March, with the bounce of the ball at 7:20pm.
Sydney will be seeking revenge after Melbourne took home four points in both clashes in 2023, while the last two matches between the sides at the SCG have also ended in Demon victories.
The fixture is the third piece in the Demons' 2024 puzzle, with a Gather Round encounter with Adelaide and Round 12 trip to Alice Springs to face Fremantle already locked in.
