Introduction 

IT truly was a breakout year for young gun Trent Rivers.

The 22-year-old played 25 games over the 2023 season, bringing electric run-and-carry off half-back and hitting the scoreboard on occasions.

Rivers was recognised at the best and fairest, taking home the Coaches’ Award to go with a career-high tenth-place finish.

Round 23 was a second career-high game for the Demons, recording 27 disposals in a 27-point win over the Hawks.
