AFLW footy is back this weekend.

Melbourne will face Carlton in its first of two practice matches for the 2023 pre-season fixture, facing the Blues on Saturday 12th August at IKON Park.

The match-simulation will be made up of four 18-minute quarters, the first bounce scheduled for 12pm with gates open from 11am.  

Entry to the game will be FREE for all supporters, with fans planning on attending the match encouraged to register their attendance here.

Those who are unable to get down to IKON Park, can catch all the action via club's social channels.

Melbourne’s second practice match will be against Hawthorn on Saturday 19th August at Casey Fields, so stay tuned for further details on how you can get involved in the action at our home ground.

As for the season-opener, the Dees will be facing Collingwood in the first match of the 2023 season in just 23 days' time. 

Tickets for the full season will be available from Thursday 10th August, with Dees fans encouraged to sign up as an AFLW member to receive access to all Melbourne games.

From 10am (AEST), members will be able to access tickets for all ten matches, while the general public can purchase tickets from 2pm.
