OUTS - Farris-White, Baldi, Peters, Valentine, Neocleous, McRae, MacDonald (Inj), Freeman (Illness), Shepherd (Inj)
Coming off the back of a disappointing loss to Collingwood followed by a bye, the Casey Demons are back this week to take on Geelong.
With that, is almost a new look team with nine changes to the squad.
Many familiar faces come into the team to provide plenty of quality and experience for Casey's first Friday night clash of the season.
Notably, Adam Tomlinson, Taj Woewodin, James Harmes and Charlie Spargo all come into the team after stints with the AFL Squad.
Tomlinson provides great reinforcement for a defence that struggled against the Pies, with the midfield quality rising to another level thanks to Woewodin, Harmes and Spargo.
Daniel "Disco" Turner returns from injury to provide more experience in the defence alongside Tomlinson.
Ben Brown is also returning from injury after missing the last game.
Exciting young Ruckman, Will Verrall will play his first game for the season after rehabbing from injury for the first half of the year.
The 19-year-old was drafted by Melbourne in 2022 and will be eager to impress the coaches as he finally makes his way onto the field this season.
Another player to play his first game for Casey will be Ned Moodie who comes into the team and will also be one to watch.
Jake Bowey also comes into the side.
Making way for the incoming players in plenty of talent itself.
Many of the outs are VFL listed players with Riley Baldi, Charlie Peters, Ryan Valentine, Harvey Neocleous, and Tommy McRae all making way.
Tom Freeman will miss out due to illness with Miles Shepherd out injured.
Cooper MacDonald is unfortunately also out with injury after making his debut against Collingwood.
Kyah Farris-White is the last of the players to miss out.
As has been the case recently Casey haven't been able to find consistent form.
The Demons haven't won in back-to-back games since Round 4 and are more than ever looking to find a streak of consistent games.
The quality is in the side this week and a Friday night under the lights at GHMBA Stadium might be the best way to start a run of form.
