Melanie Hogg is bought back into the team after missing the tight-fought loss to Essendon in round 4, while Indi Makai and Shannon Danckhert will come into the side for their first games of the 2023 season.
A duo from the Dandenong Stingrays in, Brooke Smith and Bianca Lyne, are also notable additions to the team and are sure to gain valuable experience from their call-up.
AFLW Premiership players Alyssa Bannan and Megan Fitzsimon have both been left out of the team, while league-leading goal scorer Ciara Burke has picked up an injury and will miss out as well. Emma Horne has also been left out of the squad alongside Brooke Borchard.
The Southern Saints have a similar 2-2 record as Casey, with both teams looking to build a gap on one another in what is shaping up to be a great tussle on Sunday morning. The selected team is below.
