2022 WAS a unique year for AFLW.
With a change in season dates, the league had two campaigns played within the space of 11 months.
Season Six saw the Demons secure an inaugural grand final berth, but the team fell short at the final hurdle.
Season Seven, however, the group made sure they'd go one step further and at the end of their 2022 campaign, Melbourne had secured its maiden AFLW premiership.
