MELBOURNE has added further depth to its ruck stocks by selecting Will Verrall in the 2022 NAB AFL Rookie Draft. 

Verrall hails from South Adelaide and was chosen with pick No.14 after catching the eye of recruiters with his athleticism and skills. 

Standing at 199cm, the tall talent not only has the ability to perform in the ruck, but can move up forward and use his height inside 50. 

During his time at the South Adelaide Panthers in the SANFL, he averaged 23.4 hitouts over 15 games. He most recently impressed at the U18 Championships and was invited to the National Combine in Melbourne.
