MELBOURNE has confirmed its final team of Season Seven, with 21 players named for tomorrow’s NAB AFLW Grand Final.

The Demons have made no changes to their starting line-up, opting for the same side that saw them defeat both Adelaide and North Melbourne during their current finals campaign.

Charlotte Wilson, Jordan Ivey and Maggie Caris will join the group heading to Brisbane, named on the team’s emergency list.

Melbourne is set to face Brisbane on Sunday 27 November at Brighton Homes Arena, with the match to be the first ever played at the new venue.

The Demons last faced the Lions during Round 4, in which they suffered their first loss of the season, but senior coach Mick Stinear said the group were better placed to go further on Sunday.

“We haven’t changed our method, but we’ve definitely sharpened up the speed at which we’re trying to defend and what we’re valuing,” Stinear told the Credit To The Girls Podcast.

“[But] the overall thing for us since earlier in the season has been our performance as a team and our mindset as a group.

“We felt like our shortcoming was our ability to connect and play as a team.

“It has been a strength of ours, but we’ve tried to elevate that to another level and then leverage that in a performance sense.”

Dees fans in Brisbane will have the opportunity to attend a special pre-game event at The Garden Room from 9:30am, and for those heading to the game, you can find all the match day information here, including transport, parking and venue details.

Gates are open from 12pm (local time), with all the on-field action kicking off at 1:40pm (local time).
