MELBOURNE’S Maddi Gay, Sabreena Duffy and Jordan Ivey will all be eyeing a return in Round 10, with the three Demons set to face fitness tests this week.

AFLW High Performance Manager Sam Batterton provided an update on the trio ahead of the final home-and-away game of season seven.

“Mads has been progressing very well with her hamstring rehab and will look to train on Thursday with a view to be available this weekend,” Batterton told Melbourne Media.

“Sab, who missed Round 9, has been experiencing some foot pain but will test this week ahead of Saturday’s match.

“Jordi has integrated into the main group training and will also look to train on Thursday with the goal of being available for Round 10.”

In good news for Georgia Campbell (illness) and Georgia Gall (foot), both Demons have made a successful return to match scrimmage making them both available for selection moving forward.

Rhi Watt (knee) has joined the main group’s non-contact, skills-based drills, with Eliza McNamara (back) and Gab Colvin (knee) continuing to make progress through their respective rehab programs, both now completing skills and running during their sessions.
