IT WAS AN ACTIVE Continental Tyres Trade Period for the Demons that saw three new faces and a host of top-end draft picks walk through the door.

Some late action on deadline day helped Melbourne secure two Bulldogs and walk away in a stronger position than when it started, according to List Manager Tim Lamb.

“We’ve not only improved our list, but we've improved our ability to improve our list through the draft,” he said.

While the Dees said goodbye to four familiar faces, they were able to land three ready-made AFL players: Brodie Grundy, Lachie Hunter and Josh Schache.
