With ten experienced Casey Demons committing to the club for the 2023 VFLW campaign, the red and blue will welcome three new players into the fold for the upcoming season.

Casey has looked to improve upon its third-place finish in 2022, announcing the signings of Marla Neal, Ella Morris and India Lehman to the Demons VFLW squad.

Neal comes from Collingwood VFLW, where she played 30 games over two seasons for the Magpies, including every game in the Pies’ 2022 campaign as a midfielder and utility.

Morris comes from Sydney’s Pennant Hills side, and was signed on after travelling down for a trial recently with the Demons.

In November, Morris will move down to Melbourne to begin pre-season training with the Dees ahead of the VFLW competition’s return in March.

Lehman, an NSW-ACT talent, played as an over-ager for the Murry Bushrangers in the NAB Girls. The midfielder/small forward is rated for her goal sense, work rate and footy IQ.

Alongside these new signings are ten re-signings of Casey’s experienced core group of players.

This includes 2022 vice-captain Ally Kirkwood and the experienced Mel Hogg, with both set to continue leading from the front for the Dees in 2023.

Alison Dowler will return, with Caitlin Conroy also committing to Casey again to provide a presence up forward for coach Peter Mercoulia’s side.

After a breakout year, Brooke Borchard will be back alongside the pressure game of Monica Harasimiuk.

Finally, Shree Fairchild, Emma Horne, Cara McCrossan & Bel Woolcock have also committed to returning to Casey to provide the Demons with a stable base for 2023 and beyond.
